My name is Cheryl Nelson and I am a Realtor consultant with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Premier Properties. I have been a resident of the Katy area for 42 years. My husband's family was one of the original rice farmers on the Katy prairie. I have 5 sons and 1 daughter, all grown and six precious granddaughters and a five precious grandsons.

I was born and raised in the West Houston area and am a fourth generation Houstonian.

My real estate specialty is country properties. It is not unusual to find me driving around the back roads between Matagorda and Livingston or Katy and Waelder in search of properties for sale that might be of interest to my clients.

I also enjoy working with First Time Homebuyers. When working with folks that have never owned a home before, I think about my kids and how I would want someone to treat them. I will take as much time as necessary to explain every step of what is involved in buying a home. I also enjoy working with Sellers. Whether it is moving up due to an expanding family or moving into something smaller because they have become empty nesters. I work diligently with my Sellers to make the most of their investment. Some of my personal goals are to provide quality customer service to my clients. No question is a dumb question! There is always an important reason as to why a client would ask a question.
